You Get What You Pay For

As an American consumer, who has a family including 4 children, I’m often in the market to buy things for my home and family. I’ve recently had two experiences with large companies. One was a refrigerator from a national brand. We got 6 months in and the ice maker broke. 6 months later, it broke again. We have had a continual struggle dealing with this company over the phone. On the other hand, we just had a baby and purchased an infant carrier from Britax about 8 months ago. Amy, my wife, noticed the handle broke and she called and within 2 days we had a brand new infant carrier at our front doorstep. Our experience with Britax inspired me to share why sometimes it’s better to pay a little more upfront for a quality product and a guarantee.
